Igor Janik
Igor Janik, born in Poland. One of the most talented javelin throwers in the world. In 2002 Igor won World Junior Championships in Kingston, Jamaica which was a start to a great career that led to number of medals from international competions and participation at the Olympic Games. Igor personal best is 84.76m (276'), he is still actively persuing with training. Thus you will see him at meets all over the world.
Jarek Zakrzewski
Jarek Zakrzewski, Polish, graduated from Kent State Univertsity, Kent, OH, USA. Multiple Mid-American Conferance champion and medalist in weight throw and hammer throw. NCAA Division I Academic All-American. In 1999 won Youth Polish Championships in shot put. As his career progressed he switched to hammer throw where he eventually relocated to the US to represent Kent State Track& Field program. Jarek is one of the EnergeticAthlete editors.
Andrew Nicholas
Andrew Nicholas, American, graduated from Kent State University in 2007. MAC Conference Champion in hammer throw 2006, 2007. Current Mid-American Conference meet record holder in hammer - 68.09m. Ohio Weightlifting Champion in 94k weight class 2007. Assistant Coach - Eastern Michigan University 2009-2010.
Interests include performance data analysis, study of biomechanics and power-building methods & their relation to athlete-implement inertial systems.
