2014 Indoor Season in Progress

Now that indoor season has officially started I decided to take on a few meets at the University of Findlay this past month. After picking up the weight again in December I am now competing in the weight and shot put indoor season. As USA's approach at a fast pace I am striving to qualify for both weight and shot put. Last year I had the honor and great experience to compete at the USA Indoor nationals in Albuquerque, New Mexico for shot put where they will also be held this year. I qualified for the nationals in shot put the first meet I competed in shot at Findlay in the beginning of January and have moved my mark up each meet since then. I am now sitting at 16.95m in shot after just starting to practice it again at the beginning of January. Overall Indoor season has been an improvement and I will be looking to compete at one more indoor meet before USA's at the end of February. I have yet to qualify for weight but I am only 46cm away and it is definitely reachable. Everything is setting up well for this upcoming outdoor season and will continue to be successful as I push forward towards my overall goal as a thrower here in the U.S.A. Recent weightlifting practice. Clik here.
